Services

2 See Optometry offers a wide range of services. Below are some of our standard eye care services:

A comprehensive eye exam is crucial for every individual. This exam can detect present problems with your eyes which can lead to further complications down the road. A routine eye exam can correct blurry vision and other issues before they turn into more serious problems.
During your eye exam, you can expect a series of tests that will determine the current health of your eyes. After the examination, a doctor will go over your test results and make recommendations for the best treatment plan.
Eye exams typically take 30 minutes to complete and most patients are able to drive home after their appointment.

Early detection of glaucoma can save you from more serious eye conditions in the future. Glaucoma is known as the "silent thief of sight" because it destroys your eye's optic nerves. Glaucoma symptoms progress slowly and are subtle. Most people may not even know they have it until it's too late. Glaucoma can cause damage even before vision loss occurs. In its advanced stages, glaucoma can cause partial or complete loss of vision.
A thorough glaucoma screening consists of checking for eye pressure (tonometry), inspecting your eye’s drainage angle (gonioscopy), inspecting the optic nerve (ophthalmoscopy), and testing your peripheral.

Orthokeratology is an innovative treatment that corrects near-sightedness, blurred vision, astigmatism, and other eye conditions. For patients who may not be willing to undergo an intensive surgical procedure, orthokeratology is a great alternative for Lasik surgery. The goal of Orthokeratology is the same, which is to eliminate the need for glasses or contact lenses and improve your natural vision.
Orthokeratology works by re-shaping your eye while you sleep. You simply insert the lenses before going to bed and wake up to clearer and more focused vision.
Before your orthokeratology procedure, your doctor will perform a series of tests that will examine the health of your eye’s membrane. These tests examine the physical structure of the eye, including the skin and any unique characteristics that make up its shape. Similar to a tooth mold from a dentist, the shape of your eye will determine the prescription for your Ortho-K lenses. Patients who are new to the procedure will receive information on how to insert and remove their lenses, as well as how to properly care for them.

Macular Degeneration affects a large number of the population and it’s the leading cause of vision loss, outnumbering cataracts and glaucoma.
With this alarming statistic in mind, we make sure that all of our patients go through a screening for Macular degeneration to ensure the long-term health of their vision.
Macular degeneration affects our ability to see things clearly and focus on them. There is no known cure for this condition at the moment. However, early detection can make a significant impact on managing it in the future.

At 2 See Optometry, we have an optical department at our location to fill your prescriptions with your choice of frames. Our opticians are fully knowledgeable and we are here to provide you with quick and excellent service.
